This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your personal data. This policy describes our actual data practices and is not a substitute for legal advice.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Commr:
a. Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a display name if you choose to provide one, and the account and authentication information necessary to operate and secure your account.
b. Voice and Tone Profile
You may choose to provide information such as your tone, personality, background (“About You”), platform preferences, and other communication preferences. This information is stored in association with your account and is used to personalize the comment suggestions generated for you.
c. Post Context and User Content
When you use the comment generation feature, you may paste or share the text of a social media post. You may also save, edit, or favorite the comments generated for you. This content is processed to provide the service you requested. We do not use this content for advertising, and we do not use it to train Commr’s own AI models.
d. AI Processing
To generate comment suggestions, the post text you submit and relevant profile context (such as your tone and preferences) are sent securely to third-party AI processing providers. This data is used only to generate the suggestions you requested and to operate the Service. We do not use this content for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
e. Usage and Diagnostic Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, such as app version, device type, operating system, and error information.

Commr uses the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat to process purchases and manage subscriptions. We do not directly receive or store your complete card or bank details. We receive subscription status, product, renewal, and entitlement information from these providers, and we maintain related account information such as your credit balance and any referral information associated with your account, in order to manage your access to the Service.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Account and profile data are retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly within the app. When you do, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain records for legal, security, or operational purposes.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and, where implemented, encryption at rest, along with access restrictions that limit data access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
